As part of the user experience team that was dedicated to the improvement and innovation of the Amazon Alexa artificial intelligence responses, it was my job to analyse data and consult on how best to improve the services being offered by third party companies.

This included working with multiple key stake holders from a range of different industries including the food delivery sector (Just Eat) to smart home appliances (Philips Hue, Sonos, Ring home security) among many others.

Being part of the alexa team also afforded me the opportunity to work on user experiences in a way that i hadn't done before, challenging me to think differently about the user journey while gaining a comprehensive understanding of a range of pioneering industry software, information architecture, and terminology such as Wake Words, Launch Phrases, Utterances, Connecting Words etc.
